Some press for CLEO at TIFF 2016:
"
Produced by the CFC, Cleo is an example of the capabilities and the possibilities of Canadian film.  The film follows a girl, Cleo, trying to buy a phone off Craigslist. The guy she buys off of turns out to be a little more interesting than she bargained for. Directed and shot in Toronto by the very talented Sanja Zivkovic, a Serbian-Canadian writer/director, Cleo is an interesting slice-of-life drama. Nina Kiri is excellent as Cleo, bringing a sense of self-assuredness to the screen. Andrew Pimento, who plays a wannabe bad boy but sweet at the core to a tee, equally matches Kiri, and both seem to have a natural talent for the screen. Cleo is an excellent short from a promising director and definitely worth viewing."

Some press for MOCKINGBIRD, directed by Rob Kempson, for the 2016 NextStage:

"The play is actually very funny – it’s a serious comedy, if that’s a thing, or a comedic drama...For me, Mockingbird is the perfect show. Great writing, terrific acting, strong direction, a pleasing set, and material that makes me laugh, cry and think. Definitely worth seeing" (Mooney On Theatre)

"
The plot turns and shifting allegiances are swift and clever, and the exceptional ensemble has ample comedic and dramatic material to sink their teeth into" 4.5/5 (Torontoist)

"The large ensemble cast of 11 features some memorable performances." 3/4 (Toronto Star)

"Kempson’s script is complex, hilarious, sad and executed to near perfection..Every festival has a must-see; this is it for Next Stage 2016" (My Entertainment World)
